its educational activities in rural area of Konkan.
- Our vision is to start a world-class engineering college with the state of art facilities.
- VPM's new educational township is proposed at Velneshwar, which is 20 km from
Guhagar, 55 km from Chiplun (Mumbai-Goa highway) and nearly 80 km from

Govt. of Maharashtra.
- There are two major electricity-generating projects in the nearby area, one by
Ratnagiri Gas and Power Pvt. Ltd. (previously Enron) and another by Jindal Power
